I. WHITE COLLAR
White Collar has a great team of writers behind it. The show has an original theme, and every episode is unique. It does not fall under the same procedure of most crime shows, where a new criminal is hunted and caught every week. It instead focuses on giving background stories for the shows many characters, and does so well.
This show has an amazing cast of actors. With the attractive Matthew Bomer as Neal Caffrey, the talented Tim DeKay as Agent Burke, and the wonderful Tiffani Thiessen as Elizabeth Burke, this show has one of the greatest casts of any current television program.
Another aspect that allows for this show to stand out from the rest, is its bright scenes. The well lit scenes, paired with the always smiling actors, gives this show’s viewers an overall happy feel.
Finally, this show is filmed in one of the most beautiful cities in the world: New York, New York. With it’s many different film locations and camera angles, the viewer receives a very good feel of the city. If you love NYC, you will enjoy this show.
II. BURN NOTICE
Burn Notice is a fantastic show as well. Its key points include: good writing, relate-able characters, beautiful locations, and amazing actors (No one can beat Bruce Campbell).
III. DOCTOR WHO
Doctor Who is an inspirational show, great for all age groups. It has good writing, horror mixed in, amazing special effects, and plots that force you to think.
IV. MYTHBUSTERS
Mythbusters is the pearl of the Discovery Channel. Its nerdy humor, hilarious cast, and, of course, real explosions, make it the amazing show it is.
V. NCIS
NCIS has an amazing cast, well written episodes, and a great usage of cliffhangers. Though this show is often depressing, the awkward relationships between the characters (who are portrayed well by the actors), lead to many laughs.
